-
You are tired of trying different diets, plans or programs to lose weight.

-
You WANT to be able to eat all the foods you love in a way that is enjoyable, not stressful, and health promoting.
-
You want to take care of your health and wellbeing.
- The idea of not having to follow a bunch of rules about food sounds liberating AND reckless…and maybe out of reach...
This program is NOT for you if:
- You are looking for another weight loss program, plan or diet. This program is not designed to help you lose weight.
- You have an eating disorder AND you are currently working with a team on nutritional rehabilitation.
-
You are afraid to have long held beliefs about food and weight and your body image challenged
-
You don’t like it when people acknowledge systems of oppression and their impact on people’s health and wellbeing
-
You don’t stress about what you eat pretty much ever and you don’t struggle with negative body image (if this is you we are so happy for you!).

What our participants are saying:
Kelly
“I joined Fork the Food Rules because I felt like I was out of control with my eating habits. I was so confused about what to eat and what not to eat. All around us are messages about dieting and low calorie intake. I needed help. (Now) I have learned to listen to my cravings, eat whatever and whenever I want, and listen to my body tell me when I’m too full or not eating enough food”
Layne
"I went to the beach this past weekend, and, instead of spending the whole time thinking about what other people were thinking about me and thinking - who do I think I am, wearing a two-piece - and whether my thighs were jiggling when I walked, I thought - when a 51-year-old woman walks, this is what the body does, this is what a realistic woman’s body actually looks like. This is realistic, because it is me!!
I have found so much peace and love inside of the Fork the Food Rules. The women are so supportive and kind. We are all struggling, in our own ways, but we come together, in a safe, non-judgmental container and we share (or sometimes just listen) and we have Meg and Laura’s gentle guidance to help us see our blind spots and ask the questions that will lead us, gently, to the answers we need. I feel so lucky to have found this group. I promised myself I would work towards my goal, but that didn’t mean I thought it could actually happen. And without Fork the Food Rules, I think this would have just been another year of hating my body and wishing it was different. But now I have peace and a place to go when things feel hard and I lose my way again. I know I am not the only one, I know that now."
Jennifer
“I really wanted to spend less time thinking about and worrying about food and my body. I think I had a bit of a realization that all the time and energy I was focusing on trying (unsuccessfully) to control my body could be put to better use on things I cared more about. Ironically, when I first started to follow Fork the Food Rules on Instagram, I hesitated to join because I felt like since my goal was to spend less time thinking about food, it didn't make sense to spend time on a coaching course related to food and body! After a few months, though, I realized that in a society so focused on diet and appearance, it takes very deliberate effort to counteract that.
Fork the Food Rules has really changed my outlook on food and body and helped to free me from the feeling that I should always be trying to eat "healthier" and lose weight."
Karen
“I wanted to continue on my recovery out of eating disorder and body image issues. It (course & coaching program) has helped me reaffirm things I have been learning and the classes have been helpful kicking diet culture out of my brain! The group coaching calls are amazing and encouraging. It's helpful to hear the experiences of other women on a similar journey. Megan and Laura are so kind and patient and their classes have been very comprehensive for anyone seeking to find body acceptance, ditch diet culture and find a healthy balance with eating."
The Path To Success
Here is the Fork the Food Rules® four step path to success (each module is comprised of webinars that are approx 30 min and you can start and stop at anytime... you can also just listen to them, you don't have to be in front of a computer to learn!):
STEP ONE: Disconnect Your Diet Mentality:
In this module you will begin to address the psychological reasons why eating has become stressful. The webinars in this module with help you shift your mentality, which is foundational for the following steps.
STEP TWO: See Your Body Differently:
This module is so important to begin early in this work. Society teaches you to look at your body one way and it has put you at war with your body. The webinars in this module will help bring you relief from negative body thoughts.
STEP THREE: Reconnect to your body:
The webinars in this module address the physiological reasons why eating feels stressful. This module is where you will learn how to eat all foods in a relaxed, peaceful way without food rules and food guilt.
STEP FOUR: Take Care of Your Body:
In step four you will learn to define health for yourself and how to approach healthy behaviors in a sustainable and enjoyable way. If you have ever been frustrated with yourself for not making “healthy choices” this module will help you understand why and that the problem is not actually you.
Cost: $200/month for 6 months or $1200 paid in full
